Festive Holiday Tea in London

Friday Dec 7, 2012

LONDON - This yuletide, Corinthia Hotel London is serving an Afternoon Festivi-Tea menu filled with winter sweets and cosy treats to enjoy throughout the festive season.

The central venue is the ideal place to escape and unwind after a crisp winter's afternoon of Christmas shopping. Under the sparkling Baccarat chandelier, guests can relax in the serene and elegant winter wonderland surroundings of The Lobby Lounge as they search for the season's first snowfall through the glass domed ceiling.

Festive delights on the menu include an indulgent chocolate and gingerbread yule log filled with spiced Jivara chocolate mousse, and a moist cherry rum baba soaked in cherry syrup finished with a shiny cherry glaze.

For a twist on classic Christmas flavors, cranberry macaroons are filled with fresh red fruit crème and served alongside an enchanting snow egg of chestnut mousse with vanilla marshmallows and desiccated coconut.

All yuletide fancies are accompanied by an array of teas including bespoke blends created especially for Corinthia London’s Tea Palace menu. Guests also have the option to indulge in a glass of Laurent-Perrier with a Champagne Afternoon Tea.

A selection of traditional treats including homemade stollen, Christmas cake and mince pies are also available from the Lobby Lounge table.

For those who relish in a festive frost the Festivi-Tea can also be enjoyed in the enchanting Courtyard. Adjacent to The Lobby Lounge it features two open fires to keep guests warm.
