Shawn Mendes Goes Public with Celebrity Chiropractor at Grammy Party
Shawn Mendes got the rumor mill going on Sunday night about his relationship with Jocelyne Miranda, the 51-year-old celebrity chiropractor he has been linked with in recent months. According to the Daily Mail, the 24-year-old singer continued fueling dating rumors after he arrived with his longtime chiropractor, 51, at a Grammys afterparty in Los Angeles.
With his hair neatly buzz-cut, the Canadian hitmaker left the top button loose on his cream-colored lace shirt that revealed his sparsely hairy chest. He paired the shirt with wide-leg, balloon trousers and black boots. Miranda wore a leather jacket with only one button done to expose her plunging neckline. She complemented the jacket with a leather miniskirt. The couple did not attend the awards.
"The duo first sparked the rumors of romance in July of last year," writes Jezebel, when they were spotted on a lunch date in Beverly Hills. Then they were seen grocery shopping together. Jezebel reported, "In January, Miranda was photographed entering Mendes' West Hollywood home in yoga pants, carrying a tote big enough to double as a sleepover bag. Hath there ever existed two more star-crossed lovers? A young man and the woman who aligns his spine?!"
Mendes previously dated 25-year-old Camila Cabello for two years before they ended the relationship in November, 2021. "Hey guys, we've decided to end our romantic relationship but our love for one another as humans is stronger than ever," a joint statement on Nov 17, 2021, posted to the stars' Instagram accounts read. "We started our relationship as best friends and will continue to be best friends. We so appreciate your support from the beginning and moving forward."
But who is Miranda? Her website reads: "Dr. Jocelyne Miranda has more than 20 years of expertise in the field of Chiropractic and Rehabilitation. She has a unique and individualized approach to health, with treatments designed to maximize and reach optimum performance." She is based in Los Angeles, but also works in London and on artists' tours, such as with Mendes.
She has been working with him since he embarked on his world tour in support of his self-titled album in 2018. "She's also posted a ton of pics with the 'In My Blood' singer since then, including some sweet birthday messages," writes Seventeen.
In 2019, Jocelyne shared a black and white photo with Shawn while on tour. "My "Im So Proud" 🙌🏼Candid," she captioned the shot.
Seventeen adds, "Jocelyne's Instagram feed is full of pics with some of our favorite A-listers. Justin Bieber, Hailey Bieber, Kendall Jenner, Post Malone, Omar Apollo, and Shawn Mendes are some of her star-studded clients from over the years."
