Suppose Trump-supporting gays got together for a conference and the media, both liberal and conservative, didn't show up? Such appears to be the case for the "OutSpoken Pride" in Nashville, Tennessee this past weekend hosted by the Log Cabin Republicans.

This despite the appearance of two high profile out gays in the Republican Party: Aaron Schock and Richard Grenell. Searches found no reportage from such outlets as Politico and HuffPost on the left; or Fox News and Newsmax on the right.

What reportage there is comes from Outspoken Media, which is the media arm of the Log Cabin Republicans, who oversaw the event. Not surprisingly, on Facebook they wrote in breezy, press release fashion: "#OutspokenPride 2021 was a roaring success! Thank you to all our attendees, panelists, special guests, and local chapter members who made this historic event possible."

From Facebook there is a link to a more detailed story published on Outspoken Media's site with photos. "The historic, sold-out event drew nearly 200 LGBTs and allies from across the nation who share common values of individual liberty, limited government, freedom of speech, gun rights, and a strong aversion to cancel culture and tyranny in all its forms."

In addition to parties, the event features three panels, one on the media, one on social media, and one on gays and politics.

"Saturday's program concluded with a gripping and poignant discussion between former Ambassador to Germany and former Acting Director of National Intelligence Richard Grenell and former U.S. Congressman Aaron Schock," Outspoken writes.
"At a smaller event Friday evening, President Trump phoned group organizers via Grenell to thank them for their support and offer encouragement and well-wishes," Outspoken writes in second report. "Earlier that day, Vice President Mike Pence and Second Lady Karen Pence also spoke to organizers on the phone."

"Attendees then dusted off their boots and cowboy hats for Saturday evening's Outspoken Country Bash at Ruby in Nashville, organized by the Log Cabin Republicans of Tennessee."

Amongst those in attendance were former Acting Director of National Intelligence Richard Grenell; journalist and OUTspoken Editor-in-Chief Chadwick Moore; journalists Hazem Farraj and Andy Ngo; political commentators Rob Smith, Mikey Harlow, and Christian Walker; so-called "memelord" Brokeback Patriot; WalkAway campaign founder Brandon Straka; activist Shemeka Michelle; designer Andre Soriano; and drag performers Elaine Lancaster and Lady Maga.
