Tinder is changing with the times in a very special way. The personal dating app announced this week that its users can now add relationship types and pronouns to their profiles, reported Engadget.

To be more specific, users can now specify whether they are seeking a monogamous or non-monogamous relationships, or if they are simply still figuring it out. Additionally, users can list their preferred pronouns.

If this all sounds familiar, it's because the features seem to be borrowed from the Hinge dating app, owned by the same company.

"Tinder's new relationship-type options, spurred by growing interest in less traditional dating approaches, include monogamy, ethical non-monogamy, open relationship, polyamory and 'open to exploring,'" Engadget reports.

The relationship changes reportedly come after the company cites a study of 4,000 18-to-25-year-olds showing that 41 percent are open to or seeking non-monogamous situations. Out of those, open relationships and polyamory were the most popular choices.

If all else fails, 71 percent of those singles that they just want someone who is clear about what they want.

In support of Tinder's pronoun options, a poll revealed that 33 percent of young adults say their sexuality and gender identity has become more fluid in the last three years.
