26th Annual AIDS Walk :: May 15, 2011
Nearly 45,000 walkers came together in Central Park for the 26th Annual New York City AIDS Walk, raising more than $5.8 million for AIDS service organizations. Entertainment for this year's AIDS Walk included members of the hit comedy "Modern Family," including Julie Bowen, Ty Burrell, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, and Eric Stonestreet, plus actors Matt Bomer, Laura Innes, Conchatta Ferrell, Audra McDonald, "Glee" star Dot-Marie Jones, Lee Pace, Nyambi Nyambi, "The A-List" star Mike Ruiz, and "Project Runway's" Mondo Guerra. The case of "Priscilla, Queen of the Desert" sang Pat Benatar's "We Belong." The post-walk concert was hosted by the Red Hot Organization.
