New Magazine Focuses on International Fashion, Art and Music

New York, NY -- Virgine, a new semi-annual magazine with a focus on independent fashion, art and music from around the world, will appear on newsstands in New York, London, Paris, Milan, Tokyo and Seoul beginning with New York on Wednesday, June 1, 2011.

The premiere issue features profiles of American artist John Baldwssari, Swedish artist Jenny Mortsell, Magnum photographer Michael James O'Brien, Mexican actress Ana de la Reguera, Warp Records manager Priya Dewan and many more. The issue also features the work of renowned photographers Txema Yeste, NICO, Hugh Lippe, Bjorn Iooss, Seiji Fujimori and Bjarne Jonasson.
