French Luxury Brand to Preview New Caron Fragrance at Elements Showcase

NEW YORK, NY - Classic French luxury fragrance brand, Caron, will preview their newest offering, L'Accord Code 119, at the Elements Showcase this August in New York City. "A dilemma between tradition and inspiration, (Caron "nose") Richard Fraysse discovers a striking, intimate Accord."
Pairing floral and fruity notes, L'Accord Code 119 is the first composition of its kind for Caron, a brand best known for revolutionary perfumes, such as Pour an Homme and Tabac Blond. As the House's first fruity and floral fountain fragrance, L'Accord Code 119 is a bold yet sweet composition of freshly-picked red summer berries with a rich, oriental woody base.
L'accord Code 119 will be available in early 2012 at the Caron Paris Boutique (located in Phyto Universe 715 Lexington Avenue at 58th St, New York), Bergdorf Goodman, Henri Bendel, select Nordstrom and Saks Fifth Avenue stores, but visitors of the Elements Showcase will be able to preview the scent.
Additionally, Caron will host a cocktail event to celebrate the preview at 4pm on August 16, 2011. Mixologist Ryan Mcgrale of the Flatiron Lounge will blend signature drinks from sponsors Combier, Cognac Ferrand and Louis Royer that are inspired by the notes of L'Accord Code 119.
Presenting one of the world's largest curated offerings in the art of fragrance design, the second Showcase will be held from August 15 to 16, 2011. The Elements Showcase is an innovator�from its custom designed spaces to its cutting edge fragrance installations, the Showcase is the definitive experience for established and emerging visionaries in the field of fragrance.
The Elements Showcase will be held at Skylight West in Midtown Manhattan, with interiors designed and conceptualized by New York's foremost design firm, Reddymade Designs. The Elements Showcase strives to create a relationship between exhibitor and space which highlights the most innovative fragrance brands and entrepreneurs in the industry.
Long-term New Yorkers, Mark and Robert have also lived in San Francisco, Boston, Provincetown, D.C., Miami Beach and the south of France. The recipient of fellowships at MacDowell, Yaddo, and Blue Mountain Center, Mark is a PhD in American history and literature, as well as the author of the novels Wolfchild and My Hawaiian Penthouse.
