Assouline Launches Judith Ripka Giveaway

In commemoration of Assouline's new stunning tome, "Judith Ripka by Judith," Assouline, in partnership with Judith Ripka, launched an exciting Social Media contest where they will be giving away a pair of Eclipse earrings ($625 value) and a signed edition of the new book.
Ripka's dazzling Eclipse earrings were featured on Oprah's Ultimate Favorite Things episode in November 2010 and are the perfect gift for any special person in your life, or for yourself.
"I design for every woman. Adding jewelry to an outfit makes a woman feel like she shines," says Judith Ripka. "She feels more glamorous, more beautiful, and more confident."
The contest launches on Friday, September 30th (the same day that the book will be available on www.assouline.com) and run through Friday, October 7th.
It will be live on Assouline's Facebook Page (http://www.facebook.com/assoulinepub) and Judith Ripka's Facebook Page (http://www.facebook.com/JudithRipka) and all contestants are encouraged to 'Like' both pages to be qualified.
Contestants are asked to answer, "How do these earrings reflect your personal style?" and submit their answers to [email protected].
The winner will be judged on creativity and originality and will be informed the week of October 9th by email.
Long-term New Yorkers, Mark and Robert have also lived in San Francisco, Boston, Provincetown, D.C., Miami Beach and the south of France. The recipient of fellowships at MacDowell, Yaddo, and Blue Mountain Center, Mark is a PhD in American history and literature, as well as the author of the novels Wolfchild and My Hawaiian Penthouse. Robert is the producer of the documentary We Are All Children of God. Their work has appeared in numerous publications, as well as at : www.mrny.com.
