CORAL GABLES, FL - As the world's most awarded vodka, 42BELOW knows a little something about PRIDE. See, 42BELOW is also a proud supporter of those with PRIDE - no matter how you like it. Whether you're lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, straight, a Kiwi, a Yankee or somewhere in between, 42BELOW Vodka stands to support those with PRIDE from the 42nd parallel to 42nd and Broadway.
In honor of National Coming Out Day on October 11, the internationally observed civil awareness and support day for "coming out," 42BELOW will donate $1.00 for every "Like" it receives on its Facebook page at facebook.com/42BelowVodka http://www.facebook.com/42BELOWVodka from October 7 to October 14 to the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force http://www.thetaskforce.org/ up to a total potential donation of $10,000.
The National Gay and Lesbian Task Force promotes civil rights for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered people and is a leading national voice on a variety of issues critical to the full LGBT community.
42BELOW vodka asks those with PRIDE, age 21 or older, to log-on and PRIDE-up by "Liking" 42BELOW on Facebook and we'll donate. Those feeling extra supportive can "donate" their Facebook status by updating to read "I support you - no matter how you like it."
"42BELOW is honored to work with a great organization like the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force in recognition of this important day," says Joe Metevier, brand director, 42BELOW Vodka. "We will continue to be a proud supporter and ally of the LGBT community and we hope the "Likes" roll in over the next week to help raise awareness and funds for LGBT equality."
Once people have point and clicked to show their support, we invite everyone of legal drinking age to join 42BELOW in raising a glass on National Coming Out Day and saluting those with PRIDE by sipping a tasty libation - the 42BELOW Any Way You "Like It".

In case you haven't figured it out by now, New Zealand is the birthplace of 42BELOW vodka, which just so happens to be positioned 42 degrees below the equator. And by a chance of geological luck, the region is considered the benchmark for air and water purity, providing the perfect environment for making the world's most awarded vodka.
Since 2002, 42BELOW has captured 87 international awards, earning medals in some of the world's most prestigious spirits competitions, including "Best in Class" at the 2009 International Wine & Spirits Competition and multiple Gold nods during the 2009 Monde Selection.
In addition to the original 42BELOW 80 proof vodka, the brand produces three unique flavors native to its homeland, including: 42BELOW Manuka Honey, 42BELOW Passionfruit and 42BELOW Kiwifruit flavored vodkas. Their authentic, yet delicate tastes have been embraced by bartenders and cocktail aficionados alike providing the perfect base for truly innovative cocktails. 42BELOW Vodka is available at fine bars, restaurants and retail outlets at a suggested retail price of $28.99 for a 1 liter bottle, $21.99 for a 750 ml and $1.49 for 50 ml.
