Celebrities Loosen Their Ties for Career Gear Tie Auction

NEW YORK, NY - Actor and comedian Zach Galifianakis, television host Jay Leno and NBA All-Star Carmelo Anthony are just a few of the stars who have loosened their collars for a good cause, donating ties to the Career Gear Celebrity Tie Auction. The auction, which raises money and awareness for the organization, begins tonight and ends December 6th, 2011, and will be hosted on charitybuzz, the leading site for online charity auctions.
Career Gear is a nonprofit organization that helps disadvantaged men find and retain employment through job skills training and clothing donations. Career Gear will auction off the ties of some of the best known and best dressed male stars of our era to raise money to sustain the career counseling workshops and retention services that lead to improvements in men's lives, families and communities.
Now in its third year, the Career Gear Celebrity Tie Auction has generously received ties from Tim Gunn, Kevin Bacon, David Tutera, George Kotsiopoulos, Peter Facinelli, David Duchovny, Kevin Spacey, Gordon Ramsay, Al Roker, Matt Dillon, Rainn Wilson, Dwyane Wade, Derrick Rose, Isiah Whitlock Jr., Tyreke Evans, Kenneth Faried, Xavier Henry, Al Horford and Russell Westbrook.
