MIAMI, FL - Meinto Inc., a network of independently owned online specialty boutiques in the U.S., announced a partnership with fashion designer and reality TV star Luciana Scarabello.
Scarabello, an authentic fashion-forward brand that creates chic, edgy clothes that's inspired by trendy Miami clubs and restaurants, will compete to win a multi-million dollar prize to launch her collection in three of America's largest retailers: Macy's, H&M and Saks Fifth Avenue.
Meinto.com is all about putting local fashion on the international map by partnering with local, fashion-forward boutiques and independent designers to sell their merchandise online. With over 700,000 unique visitors a day, Meinto.com is already a huge success in Denmark, Sweden and Norway.
Meinto.com is a collaborative, iconic movement determined to champion specialty boutiques and designers. The company is refining the boutique shopping experience by providing a web and social based business model that complements their brick-and-mortar stores, offering them a new sales channel through our international customer base.
"Partnering with Scarabello is a great opportunity to add another fashion-forward apparel line to our expansive collection of independent boutiques, giving our customers an even broader selection of chic and sexy clothing," says Daniel Figueredo, Managing Director of Meinto.com.
Going forward, the Meinto.com team will continue enhancing the site and adding features and unique specialty boutiques to improve the user experience for both vendors and shoppers."
Luciana Scarabello, originally from Buenos Aires, created the Scarabello clothing line in 2007 as a small lab experiment using different cuts and construction techniques. With the goal to make every design unique, Scarabello is very detail oriented and utilizes different finishing processes, sensitivity towards design and is constantly working on innovative, fashion-forward design ideas.
To this date, the Scarabello fashion line has a presence in over 100 stores across the world including Argentina, Mexico, Canada, Japan, Australia and South Africa. Her partnership with Meinto.com seems like the logical next step.
"The Meinto.com alliance allows Scarabello to focus on capturing the cultural flavor of Miami, while leaving our eCommerce efforts to the experts," says Luciana Scarabello, Owner of Scarabello clothing line. "Meinto.com will help Scarabello achieve its goals of growing online sales and increasing brand recognition."
Apart from the recent addition of Scarabello clothing, other specialty boutiques already enjoying success with Meinto.com include Mondo Uomo, Rythm, Denim Lily, Met in Jeans, Post Blue Jean Co. and more.
Established in 2008 and headquartered in Copenhagen, Denmark, Meinto.com is an online shopping destination that is as unique as its customers shopping on the site. Earlier this year, Meinto.com was awarded the best B2C website of 2011 in Scandinavia by FDIH (who represent the most important Danish e-commerce companies). Meinto.com launched in the U.S. in 2011 and currently showcases nearly 800 brands on its website.
