HAMILTON, Ohio (AP) - A former professional wrestler serving 32 years in prison for having sex with women without revealing he had tested positive for the virus that causes AIDS won't serve more time on a similar conviction in a second Ohio county.
A Butler County judge on Wednesday sentenced 30-year-old Andre Davis to 2 1/2 years in prison. Davis pleaded guilty to attempted felonious assault in a deal with prosecutors who say he didn't tell a woman his HIV status before having sex with her.
Wednesday's sentence will run concurrently with Davis' Hamilton County sentence, which he received in January for not telling 11 women his HIV status.
Davis' attorney said Wednesday that his client has appealed in Hamilton County but won't in Butler County.
Davis' wrestling stage names included Sweet Sexy Sensation.
