WTF: Joan Rivers Handcuffs Herself to Costco Cart
Veteran comedian Joan Rivers caused a ruckus at a Costco in Burbank, Calif., last week when she handcuffed herself to a shopping cart because the mega retailer refused to carry her latest book, "I Hate Everyone ... Starting With Me," the Las Angeles Times reported.
Soon after the 79-year-old television personality handcuffed herself to the carriage, police were called to the scene. She eventually left the store but made sure to speak to several reporters.
She told the media that Costco banned the book because it has cuss words on the back cover.
"People should have the right to have the literature they want," the nasal-voiced comedienne told KTLA News.
"This is the beginning of Nazi Germany."
"They kicked me out without giving me any free samples," she added.
The New York Daily News news reports that the "Fashion Police" star told the media that she refuses to change her cover and said, "Did Anne Frank give her book a happy ending? It's not about money. I'm considering myself now the Jewish Rosa Parks."

Lady Gaga to Grace Vogue's September Issue
Many consider Vogue's September issue as the most coveted magazine cover any celebrity can be on and for 2012's edition, Lady Gaga has landed the iconic spot.
"AHHH! The Vogue Express dropped off the SEPTEMBER ISSUE yesterday morning. IM A COVER GIRL, and ITS FAB!" the 26-year-old pop star tweeted on Wednesday night.
According to the Daily News points out that the Mother Monster is wearing a Marc Jacobs hot pink fishtail gown and the infamous Grace Codington is credited for styling her in the shoot. The publication also notes that the cover's inspiration comes from the Bride of Frankenstein and Divine, the drag queen from John Waters' 1972 film, "Pink Flamingo." Gaga's hair is blonde and frizzed out to the max.
Some even compared the singer to another drag queen, RuPaul.
"Who else sees me channeling @RuPaul in the COVER of VOGUE," she tweeted. "If only I was as fierce as you bitch."

Taylor Swift-ly Buys Mansion Near Kennedy Boy Toy
Country singer Taylor Swift recently purchased a new home near the Kennedy compound in Hyannis Port, Mass., which happens to be the home of Robert Kennedy Jr.'s son and Swift's new boyfriend, Conner, the San Francisco Chronicle reported.
The seven-bedroom, five-bathroom mansion was listed for $14 million but it appears as though the star paid only $4.9 million - in cash.
According to the newspaper, Swift, 22, apparently got serious with Kennedy, 18, when she introduced him to her parents earlier this month.
Ethel Kennedy recently commented on the couple's relationship and said, "We should be so lucky (to have her in our family)."
Ahh. does she know the term, stalker?
Just this week, Swift announced information on her new album: it is called "Red" and drops in October. She also released the LP's first single, "Never Ever Getting Back Together" - another ex-boyfriend bashing track.
