With an estimated 60,000 people currently living with HIV/AIDS in Los Angeles, APLA's direct care and prevention programs are more important than ever before. The funds raised from The Ninth Annual West Hollywood Bartender Auction will help APLA provide low-income Angelenos who are living with HIV/AIDS with food, dental care, mental health services, and so much more.
Winning bidders and their bartender dates will enjoy an exhilarating fashion show and live musical performances from Robin Thicke and Karmin. Glamorama takes place on Friday, September 7, 2012 at the historic Orpheum Theatre in Downtown Los Angeles. Auction paddles cost $25, and are available at apla.org/bartender.??
Funds raised will also support APLA's crucial HIV prevention, testing, and advocacy work, which seek to end new infections among those at highest risk and to defend government funding that those who are HIV-positive depend on to remain healthy.
