Montreal's New Food Festival, Taste MTL, to Debut in November

MONTREAL, Quebec - From November 1 to 11, the all-new TASTE MTL Festival will invite Montrealers and visitors alike to celebrate the great variety and quality of the city's restaurants at appetizing prices.
For 11 days, foodies will have the great opportunity to discover new establishments and enjoy delectable menus at fixed prices, otherwise known as a table d'h�te, in addition to a host of special events.
Innovative cuisine, creative combinations and an endless feast of possibilities: That's what the first edition of TASTE MTL has in store. In the popular tradition of top food destinations around the world, Montr�al's Restaurant Week serves up delectable menus at fixed prices in a variety of restaurants throughout the city.
From chic five-star restaurants to cozy little bistros and "Bring Your Own Wine" eateries, there's something to inspire every craving and palate.
TASTE MTL offers three fixed prices for evening meal service ($19, $29, and $39 respectively) as well as a fixed late-night menu priced at $19.

A long-term New Yorker and a member of New York Travel Writers Association, Mark Thompson has also lived in San Francisco, Boston, Provincetown, D.C., Miami Beach and the south of France. The author of the novels WOLFCHILD and MY HAWAIIAN PENTHOUSE, he has a PhD in American Studies and is the recipient of fellowships at MacDowell, Yaddo, and Blue Mountain Center. His work has appeared in numerous publications.
