UK Apothecary Develops Eco-Friendly Products for Grace Bay Boutique Hotel
Mark Thompson READ TIME: 2 MIN.
Providenciales, Turks and Caicos - Upon its grand opening in late October, Beach House Turks and Caicos, the first authentically boutique hotel on award-winning Grace Bay, will unveil an equally tantalizing eco chic bath amenity line.
Inspired by a signature scent developed in collaboration between Beach House Managing Director Andrew Ashcroft and perfumer Richard Howard, the product formulator and director of the UK-based Arcania Apothecary, the products evoke the energy and freedom of being at one with the ocean.
The nine all-natural products will be featured in the guest suites, including an invigorating and soothing body wash, shampoo, conditioner, hand wash, hand cream, temple balm, salt scrub and an after sun body lotion. Nutrient rich ingredients like lavender, frankincense, lemon grass, aloe vera, Jasmine and linden blossom create unique scents and an ideal composition for each product and its intended use.
"Of all five senses the sense of smell is the most primitive and powerful," said Andrew Ashcroft. "In addition to the extraordinary natural fragrances found throughout Turks and Caicos, we were passionate about creating a signature scent for Beach House that would capture the feelings, the sounds and the beauty of island life in the Caribbean."
The new amenity line emphasizes the 'feel-well' approach that Beach House will instill on its guests ranging from the dining experience to the relaxing Pampering Pods on the beach.
In addition to all 21 suites of Beach House, the full bath and body line will be available for sale in the hotel's boutique and online along with a broad array of Beach House branded clothing, accessories and gift items.
The Beach House line is a collection of bath and body products inspired by the energy of island life. The products are prepared with distinct sensitivity for the precious ingredients in the Arcania Apothecary lab in Somerset, England using natural botanicals and pure essential oils. All nine selections are available for use in 10 ounces bottles in each suite utilizing an environmentally conscious and hygienic refill system.
The 21-suite Beach House Turks and Caicos, Grace Bay's first authentically boutique hotel, is ushering in a new era of barefoot elegance with a focus on style, a passion for relaxation and a vigorous commitment to raising Caribbean cuisine to new heights. Open and airy guest suites - all in excess of 1,150 square-feet are luxuriantly situated on two acres of Grace Bay Beach to provide guests with an ideal haven for relaxation and private beachfront dining. Formerly known as Turks and Caicos Club, the Hotel is set to grand open in fall of 2012.
