Mother of the Year? Octomom Lives Up to 'Hot Mess' Promise

Just when you forgot about Octomom, the woman who made headlines around the world in 2009 for having octuplets, the 37-year-old train wreck has stepped into the media spotlight once again but this time it's for something a little more shocking than popping out eight babies.

New York Daily News reports that Octomom, also known as Nadya Suleman, flashed her breasts at a New York City gay nightclub last weekend during a drag event and then pretended to feed a baby doll vodka - just hours after learning that she was charged with child neglect in California.

Suleman, who has 14 children in all, was the guest of honor at XL Nightclub's "Hot Mess" drag show and was promoting her new porn flick by giving the audience a sneak peak of the naughty movie. She appeared at the event soon after California police announced that she would be facing criminal charges for child neglect, however.

RadarOnline reports that while on stage, she flashed her breasts to the crowd and then pretended to nurse two plastic baby dolls with a bottle of vodka. The drag queens at the event were eating up Suleman's antics and urged her to expose more of herself but a witness told the website that Octomom seemed embarrassed by the porn clip.

Last year, Suleman said that she was suffering from financial problems when the Orange County house she was living in with her children went into foreclosure. In order to make money, Octomom decided to try her hand at porn and began to work on a movie with the adult site dialastar.com. Daily News notes that Suleman even started to beg for rent money.

"I am having to move out of my home soon and i'm very close to being able to buy a home for my kids. Your support is appreciated," she wrote on her GoFundMe.com website last summer.

If that wasn't bad enough, the mother was then accused of child neglect by two former nannies.

"I feel like those children are in danger," one of the women told CBS. "I think something is going to happen to those children if nothing is done." One of the nannies claimed that Suleman once tied her eight babies to their beds with cheesecloths so they wouldn't get away.

But Suleman's camp denies the allegations.

"None of the allegations are true. This is a woman who became obsessed with the children and contacted me to help her write a book," Suleman's manager, Gina Rodriguez, told the Daily News. "Her and the other woman claiming to be a nanny also are good friends and are trying to make money," she said. "This is why Nadya chose to move far away. The woman has been stalking Nadya, calling the kids and texting Nadya threatening text messages that she would go to police unless Nadya brought her the children."
