Diana Marie Events Announces its First LGBTQ Wedding Show in Central Florida
Diana Marie Events Event Planning and Design is announcing its premiere LGBTQ Wedding Show, Equal Plan, that will take place on September 22, 2013 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Orlando Downtown (60 S. Ivanhoe Rd.). Equal Plan for Marriage Equality will bring together an array of wedding vendors that support marriage equality for everyone!
The organizers' goal and focus with Equal Plan is to promote and educate others on the topic of marriage equality for all; as a civil rights issue, a higher degree of legitimization for the LGBTQ communities should be, and will be, promoted. LGBTQ Floridians are still not permitted to marry until the state's constitutional ban is undone, and Equal Plan seeks to bring awareness of marriage equality to central Florida.
Equal Plan is a one-stop shop where all couples, both same-sex couples who are planning their commitment ceremonies, as well as straight couples who are allies and support Marriage Equality, can come together to support the cause, and enjoy a fun and exciting way to learn about the current trends and fashions with weddings, and see mock design exhibits.
Couples will meet with a variety of vendors, all of whom will exhibit their LGBTQ-friendly businesses and services, including ceremony and reception venues, planners, photographers, entertainment, designers, florists, jewelry, rentals, videographers, and more.
Diana Marie Events invites you to connect with various LGBTQ-friendly businesses in Central Florida and in the wedding industry, taste menu samples, and participate in various raffles of prizes. The first 100 Brides/Grooms (one per couple) through the doors will receive a swag bag. Couples and allies are welcome to attend to support marriage equality for all!
Online pre-registration costs $5 and the tickets are buy one, get one free; and tickets the day of the event are $5 each. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Equality Florida.
For businesses who wish to participate in an exhibition of their services, or if you have any questions, they should be addressed to Diana Martin at Diana Marie Events, telephone number (321) 277-1739, e-mail [email protected].
