Cops: Pa. Agency Owner Wanted 'Rid of' Gay Worker

The owner of a central Pennsylvania social service agency has been jailed on charges he solicited his uncle to get "rid of" a worker who allegedly threatened to play the "gay card" if she wasn't given a raise or promotion.
The defense attorney for 26-year-old Shane Krestar didn't immediately return a call for comment Tuesday on charges first reported by The Tribune-Democrat.
State police say Krestar, who owns Key Life Human Services in Coalport, contacted his uncle last month after the worker made her alleged demands.
Among other things, Krestar allegedly asked his uncle - who is not charged and cooperated with police - "What would it take for you to tamper with her car. We have to get rid of her."
A Tuesday hearing on the charges was postponed.
