Girl Bar Dinah Shore Celebrates New Home in Vegas

Thousands of women from across the globe gathered in Sin City on April 24-27 for the 22nd year of Girl Bar Dinah Shore, now celebrating its third year in Las Vegas.

Producers Robin Gans, Sandy Sachs, Linda Fusco and Michelle Agnew credit the ambitious outreach of Richard Brower, director of LGBT marketing for Caesars Entertainment who commented, "Girl Bar Dinah Shore Weekend has become a 'must attend' event for the lesbian community and has a committed group of followers. As the only casino company with a 100% on the Human Rights Campaign Corporate Equality Index, our commitment to the LGBT community is strong. We are delighted to serve as hosts for the event's Las Vegas debut and look forward to a long-lasting relationship with the Girl Bar and the Truck Stop Girlz Dinah Shore event founders."

Drinks were flowing at Thursday, April 24th's VIP Cocktail Party and Traffic Jam Meet & Greet at the London Club at Planet Hollywood. As the ladies arrived in town, they had the chance to check in and mingle with the other guests.

Women were up early on Saturday for Dinah's notorious pool parties. The Infinity Pool Party took over the Main Flamingo Pool all day long until the sun set, with special performances by the girl group G.R.L., Bria and Chrissy, and the fabulous Haviland Stillwell, who was releasing her new album "Spark," with a single on it called, ironically, "Infinity." Talk about pitch perfect!

That night, VIPs enjoyed a special Champagne Party at Vegas White before the doors opened to the rowdy crowd of ladies who partied until the break of dawn on the Paris Rooftop Nightclub, under the Eiffel Tower. The red carpet was bustling with stars, burlesque dancers shook their tailfeathers, and showgirls and go-go dancers partied in the luxurious setting.

For those women able to drag themselves out of bed the next day, Diablos was again the location for the ultimate Gurlesque Closing Party, from noon to 9 p.m. After checking out of the host hotels, Flamingo or Planet Hollywood, this was the place to get the hair of the dog before hitting the road back home.

Between the roulette tables, showgirls, fine dining, and spectacular views of Sin City as seen from the Vegas High Roller Wheel at Caesar's, this is one weekend that will never be forgotten!
