"Orange is the New Black" star Laverne Cox told E! Online Friday that she's currently dating someone.
"I'm managing to find time to date," Cox said. "I'm seeing someone but we haven't defined what we're doing. We're just enjoying each other's company and having a very good time and laughing together and supporting each other."
The transgender activist is currently promoting her role as Sophia on Netflix's groundbreaking original series, "Orange is the New Black," and is also in the midst of producing a one-hour special for MTV and Logo about trans teens as well as a documentary about a trans women who was sent to a men's prison after being attacked on the street.
Clearly, she's a busy lady and says although she's dating, she has no plans to have kids and isn't sure if she wants to get married.
"But I do believe in love," she said. "I very much believe in love. I want to be in love and in a partnership with a man...I see myself in love and in a fierce partnership with someone who loves and respects me."
Cox made headlines last month when she graced the cover of Time magazine after being excluded from the publication's 100 Most Influential People.
"What a wonderful bday present!," said Cox on her Facebook page. "Yes today is my birthday and I am on the cover of @TIME magazine. I realize this is way bigger than me and about a tipping point in our nation's history where it is no longer acceptable for trans lives to be stigmatized, ridiculed, criminalized and disregarded. This is for my trans siblings out there and for anyone who has ever been told that who you know yourself to be at your core is not legitimate. You are who you know yourselves to be."
