PopUPs :: Meltdowns Galore

Everyone seems to be melting down this week, and no it's not because of the beautiful weather: This week, we look at Shia LaBeouf's latest freak out, Lana Del Rey getting called out by Kurt Cobain's daughter, why Sting's kids are probably really pissed off and why Adele's fans are going to flip out at any moment.
More details surrounding Shia LaBeouf's Thursday meltdown are trickling out and the Daily Mail reports that the "Transformers" star chased after a homeless man around Manhattan's Theater District before he was arrested for disorderly conduct.
Witnesses say that the 28-year-old actor was running through traffic in broad daylight, targeting a man who had no clue who he was (I guess someone hasn't seen "Eagle Eye").
Shia apparently wanted the guy's big bag of McDonald's (who wouldn't) or his hat. The former child star tried to entice the homeless man, who really didn't deserve any of this, by repeatedly saying, "It's me, Shia."
This all went down before Shia was arrested for disorderly conduct Thursday night for acting a fool at a Broadway show, where he reportedly slapped fellow patrons on the ass, hit other patrons in the back of the head and smoked a cigarette in the theater during the show's first act. All of tho lead to him being lead out of the theater in handcuffs only to be taken to the local precinct where he called the cop who fingerprinted him a "fag."
Klassy.
The actor was released from jail Friday morning and took the walk of shame back to his hotel; refusing to speak with media, holding his shoelaces in his hands and wearing his Thursday's clothes - a ripped blue T-shirt and jeans. That's what you get for day drinking margaritas and watching the World Cup, Shia!
Lana Del Rey's meltdown was reserved, demure and behind the scenes -- sorta. Things looked pretty good for the sad girl singer; her album "Ultraviolence" went to No. 1 on Billboard, and she became the best-selling single female solo artist since Beyonce released "Beyonce" in December.
But her high came crashing down when Courtney Love and Kurt Cobain's daughter called her ass out on Twitter.
Frances Bean Cobain had a problem Lana's comments when she glamorized dying young in an interview with the Guardian earlier this month, saying she wishes she was dead.
"The death of young musicians isn't something to romanticize," Cobain wrote. "I'll never know my father because he died young & it becomes a desirable feat because ppl like u think it's 'cool.'"
According to the New York Daily News, Lana responded and tweeted; "I liked (Kurt) because he was talented not because he died young."
Cobain replied, saying, "I'm not attacking anyone. I have no animosity toward Lana. I was just trying to put things in perspective from personal experience."
To make things worse for the "Brooklyn Baby" singer, E! Online reports that the singer and her Scottish fiance, Barrie-James O'Neil, have split up.
"We are currently not together," the 28-year-old singer allegedly told a German outlet when asked to confirm rumors that she'd gotten engaged to O'Neill.
"He is a wonderful person. But there are some things with which he has to deal. I will not explain it in detail. This was hard on our relationship. I no longer felt free. We'll see how it goes."
Sting's kids are probably having a freak out after the former Police frontman revealed that they would not be getting a cut of his $306 million fortune, the Daily Mail reports.
"I told them there won't be much money left because we are spending it! We have a lot of commitments. What comes in, we spend, and there isn't much left," Sting said. "I certainly don't want to leave them trust funds that are albatrosses round their necks. They have to work. All my kids know that and they rarely ask me for anything, which I really respect and appreciate. Obviously, if they were in trouble I would help them, but I've never really had to do that. They have the work ethic that makes them want to succeed on their own merit."
The ladies over the at "The View," sans Whoopi, are also probably melting down after ABC announced Sherri Shepard and Jenny McCarthy are both getting their walking papers. Barbara Walters couldn't give less of a shit since she's retiring to wherever hard-hitting journalists retire (Del Boca Vista?), which leaves good old Whoopi in charge the longtime daytime talk show. God speed, 'cuz you in danger girl.
Finally, the last to freak out is you! Well, that's if you're an Adele fan. The Daily Star reports the super successful singer is going to be the next diva to Beyonce her album, releasing it on an undisclosed date and exclusively on iTunes. A source told the newspaper the record will most likely be called "25," falling in line with her other albums "21," and "19," and that the record is "written, recorded and finished."
"Theoretically it could be released tomorrow if she wanted," the sourced continued. "The plan is to release internationally on iTunes as a complete surprise without any previous promotion or build-up publicity campaign. The shock tactics worked amazingly well for Beyonce and the feeling is Adele's new album is so widely anticipated it doesn't need a long promotional build-up."
Bonus: "Wheel of Fortune" host Pat Sajak avoided what could have been a messy meltdown when he accidentally identified a gay contestant as straight, saying, "some woman has agreed to marry you!" during the contestants little meet-and-greets.
"Some gentleman," T.K. Klotz said, correcting the game show host.
"Wrong again! I had a 50-50-shot, T.K., and I messed it up," Sajak said.
