British PE Teacher Busted Having Sex With a Female Student

A physical education teacher from the U.K. must register as a sex offender after she was busted having sex with a female, underage student.

Gay Star News reports Emily Fox pled guilty to four counts of sexual activity with a minor at the Royal Masonic School for girls in Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire.

While "it is clearly in the public interested to identify the school as well as the defendant," the student won't be identified, ruled the court.

"It is, to my knowledge, by no means a small school. I don't see how the identification of the school leads to the identification of the child," said the judge.

The incidents occurred between 2012-2013 while Fox was teaching at the School. Fox now faces three to seven years in prison for four counts of sexual activity with a child while in a position of trust. The age of consent in the UK is 16 years old.

The Daily Mail reported that the 26-year-old teacher from Bath, Somerset admitted to the charges at St. Albans Crown Court, before defense barrister Dee Connelly asked for the case to be adjourned for a pre-sentence report.

Judge Michael Baker QC adjourned the case until September 5, granting Fox bail, and telling her that she must now register as a sex offender. He also said that Fox can't go to the Royal Masonic School any more, or have contact with anyone under 16-years-old.

The �24,000 ($40,297 USD)-a-year private school for girls takes both day and boarding pupils aged seven to 18, with a pre-school, which takes pupils from the age of two. It was founded in 1788 to educate the daughters of Freemasons who were unable to support their families.
