Brendan Jordan, the 15-year-old megadiva who photobombed the choreography to Lady Gaga's "Applause" video during a Las Vegas newscast, was a guest on "The Queen Latifah Show." He vogued, gave face and got treated to a pair of tickets to "RuPaul's Drag Race."
EDGE reported on Jordan's scene-stealing move after he photobombed a local television report about the opening of a new shopping center with the dance moves from Lady Gaga's hit song, "Applause." The video got almost 4 million hits.
The moves not only attracted Mama Monster Lady Gaga, who Tweeted to the sassy teen, but Jordan said that the spot lead to him getting a modeling gig for American Apparel.
And on October 28, Jordan was a guest on "The Queen Latifah Show," to discuss the video. He told Latifah that he couldn't help it; he was just waiting for his spotlight to do his moves.
"It just happened. I am always like that," says Brendan. "I am always "on." Before the cameras were rolling they were playing music in the background and it helped me get started. When I saw that camera was on I just went into MY mode. I am a huge Lady Gaga fan. I was actually channeling my inner superstar."
Gaga wasn't the only one who saw the video. Drag queen RuPaul also saw it, and sent her star Raven to surprise him with tickets to a taping of "RuPaul's Drag Race" finale.
After screaming his little head off, Jordan proceed to vogue over the closing credits, as Latifah hooted in approval. Who knows what stands on the horizon for this Internet sensation, but one thing is certain: this boy is gayer than a rainbow pocketbook full of unicorns.
