Franco & Rogen Get Naked & Afraid for 'Naked and Afraid'

Actors and BFFs James Franco and Seth Rogen are set to appear in a special episode of the hit Discover reality TV series "Naked and Afraid," Entertainment Tonight reports.

"Naked and Afraid" takes place over about 21 days where two people (usually a man and a woman) are dropped off in the middle of nowhere and must survive the wilderness without clothes and very limited supplies. But as ET points out, Franco and Rogen will probably make this episode pretty hilarious, unlike a normal episode of the reality show.

"You're supposed to be a hot Australian survivalist," Franco said in his preview interview.

"I was hoping to be paired up with a woman, but I guess Franco's the next best thing," Rogen added. "He's pretty much hairless. Take your glasses off -- he's pretty much a woman."

Franco and Rogen have starred in a number of films together, including "Pineapple Express" and "This Is the End." They also were in the short-lived cult classic "Freaks and Geeks" and will star in the upcoming highly anticipated comedy "The Interview," which opens on Christmas Day.

In a preview clip, Rogen yells:

"What are you doing here?"

"You're supposed to be a hot Australian survivalist," Franco says.

The episode will air on Dec. 7 on the Discovery channel to promote "The Interview," where Franco plays a tabloid TV host and Rogen as the show's producer. The duo end up scoring an ultra rare interview with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un and are instructed by the U.S. government to kill him.

Franco and Rogen also made headlines last year when they recreated the sensual music video for the Kanye West music video "Bound 2," starring Kim Kardashian.
