Miami Beach's most anticipated celebration of the year, the Winter Party Festival, has a brand new look but the same extraordinary energy. Winter Party Festival 2015, March 4th - 9th, will mesmerize South Florida with a six-day extravaganza that celebrates the unique spirit of the LGBTQ community. New events and activities will be added to its long-standing mix of welcoming receptions and unforgettable parties for the more than 10,000 revelers from around the world who make up the vibrant, diverse and ever-growing guest list.
In order to produce the 2015 mega-event, organizers of Winter Party Festival are looking to fill key volunteer positions in various areas, including Finance, Women's Programming and Production. A reception to welcome potential team members is being held at Score, located at 1437 Washington Avenue, on Thursday, November 6, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
"Our guests are passionate about celebrating who they are while raising funds to create progress for the LGBTQ community," says Justin Bell, 2015 Winter Party Festival Chair. "It's crucial to recruit passionate and creative individuals to work with us. We're known as the friendliest party on the planet, and that's thanks to the hundreds of dedicated volunteers that assist us every year."
Proceeds from Winter Party Festival and the Miami Recognition Dinner support the important work of the National LGBTQ Task Force to build power, take action and create positive, lasting change for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people and their families throughout the country. A significant portion of the proceeds also funds multiple organizations serving the LGBTQ community in South Florida through an annual grant made by the Task Force to the GLBT Community Projects Fund of The Miami Foundation.
