Will She End Up Chum? Michele Bachmann Films 'Sharknado 3'
EDGE READ TIME: 1 MIN.
The LGBT community breathed a heavy sigh of relief when former republican congresswoman from Minnesota Michele Bachmann retired from office this year, now it's the film industry's turn to suffer.
Star Tribune reports former U.S. representative from Minnesota Michele Bachmann made her professional acting debut Wednesday when she filmed a scene from "Sharknado 3" in front of the White House in Washington, D.C..
Bachmann plays herself in the third installment of the weather disaster horror franchise. Her scene is with Washington Redskins player Tom Compton, who plays a TV news reporter interviewing her.
According to tweets from Huffington Post Associate Politics Editor Igor Bobic, one of Bachmann's lines is "I believe they are growing in size, Congress has to take this seriously."
Bachmann is one of many notable cameos including David Hasselhoff Mark Cuban and Ann Coulter slated to appear in "Sharknado 3," which takes place in Washington, D.C. and Orlando, Florida.
The film is slated to premiere on cable's SyFy network in July. No mention was made of whether or not Bachmann ends up a victim of flying sea carnivores but our fingers are crossed.
