Dan Savage a Hater? Porno Pete Thinks So (And Wants it Official)

It's tough being Dr. Ben Carson these days.

First he catches flack for using prison sex as an example to back up his claim that homosexuality is a learned behavior. Then he caught even more flack from the right wingers who usually have his back for backing away from the prison sex statement. As if things weren't tough enough, mean old Dan Savage asked Ben to literally put his money where his mouth is by sucking his dick to see if that turned him gay.

Never fear, Dr. Carson. Peter LaBarbera (aka "Porno Pete") of Americans for Truth About Homosexuality (AFTAH) has come to your rescue. And he's not only fighting your Dan Savage battle for you, he's also going to take on those meanies who labeled your anti-gay organization a hate group - the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC).

In an article posted to the AFTAH website titled "Why Hasn't the SPLC Designated Dan Savage a Hateful 'Extremist'?", La Barbera writes:

"It says all you need to know about the Southern Poverty Law Center's warped, arbitrary and maliciously unfair "hate" labeling system that the SPLC has never designated vulgar homosexual activist Dan Savage (or any homosexual activist, for that matter) as a hateful 'extremist.'"

LaBarbera then pointed to a tweet sent by Savage to Carson that read: "Being gay is a choice? Prove it: Choose it yourself. Suck my dick. Sincerely, Dan Savage."

Following Savage's now infamous tweet, LaBarbera used instances where Savage took on the Duggar family for their participation in having an Arkansas anti-LGBT discrimination ordinance overturned.

To further his point that Savage is a hating extremist, LaBarbera used anti-gay presidential hopeful Rick Santorum as an example.

"Here is Savage's evil "Google-bomb" creation to redefine Sen. Rick Santorum's last name as the byproduct of sodomy."

"Santorum (san-TOR-um) n. 1. The frothy mixture of lube and fecal matter that is sometimes the by-product of anal sex."
