Stress Free and Feeling Good on Hawaiian Airlines
EDGE READ TIME: 2 MIN.
April is National Stress Awareness Month (the irony isn't lost on us given the tax deadline of April 15). Did you know that according to a MasterCard study, 89 percent of adults last year found planning a vacation stressful, with airport navigation accounting for 57 percent?
Hawaiian Airlines, the largest air service provider from New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and eight other markets to Hawaii, has led U.S. carriers in on-time performance for the past 11 years. The International Air Transport Association recently announced that the airline is the first carrier in the U.S. to attain Platinum status for fast travel implementation, which recognizes airlines offering compliant solutions to at least 80 percent of passengers.
According to a new survey by U.S. Travel Association, travelers are frustrated with the growing number of fees, so the airline has found ways to surprise guests with complimentary services. Not only do they receive complimentary meals, but can print their own luggage tags to avoid lines at seven Hawaiian Airlines' airports. Important to the signature onboard hospitality, as of April the airline is also rolling out new amenity kits.
In its continued effort to find new ways of enhancing the travel experience for its guests, Hawaiian Airlines is offering new amenity kits on its international flights in all cabins beginning April 2015. The airline has partnered with one of Hawai'i's most popular local apparel/graphic designers, Manuheali'i, to design an exclusive print pattern for Hawaiian Airlines that features a modern banana leaf in teal and light grey, reflecting the scenery, hospitality and spirit of the Hawaiian Islands.
Other elements of the new amenity kit include hydrating mist, hand and body lotion, and unscented lip balm from private label skincare brand, L?li'i, which means relaxation in the Hawaiian language. The L?li'i brand features a coconut essence in its products which evokes the tropical allure of Hawai'i.
