Florida Benefit Bands Together for Survival Against Breast Cancer

On Saturday, April 25, MusicWorks, Inc. will present Band Together for Survival, a live benefit concert to be held at the exclusive, waterfront Aventura Arts & Cultural Center in Aventura, FL. The goal of Band Together For Survival is to educate our communities and achieve a heightened awareness of the urgency for early breast cancer detection procedures and accessibility of available resources for the preservation of body and life.

"The message we send extends beyond breast cancer 'awareness,' directing individuals to assistance and diagnosis with qualified healthcare providers," said Lee Babitt, who hoped that the concert event and annual campaign will eventually achieve national recognition.

The concert features performances by Jeffrey Gaines, Ghaleb, Mary Jennings & JL Fulks.

The event is held in collaboration with Mount Sinai Medical Center, Novecento Restaurant, The Women's Breast & Heart Initiative, Jazz & Blues Florida, Berlin Designs, Professional Bank, La Estancia Argentina, Ariel Cuello-Mana Productions, U Style Day Spa Salon, Bikram Yoga of North Miami Beach & Weston, Hallandale Creative Printing, Messinger & Associates, CPAS and RetroSource Commercial Real Estate, Band Together for Survival, a festive and celebratory event, will be a multi-act concert event to promote breast cancer awareness.

Proceeds from this concert extravaganza will be donated to The Women's Breast & Heart Initiative, founded by Andrea Ivory, a breast cancer survivor and champion for the cause which reaches out to women throughout South Florida.
