'OITNB' Holds Casting Call for Dominican Females

Attention Dominicanas and Nuyoricanas! The hit Netflix show "Orange is the New Black" is currently seeking Dominican types to play female inmates on scenes filming in New York City this week.

The series focuses on Piper Chapman (Taylor Schilling), a bisexual woman living in New York City who is sentenced to 15 months in a women's federal prison for transporting a suitcase full of drug money to her former girlfriend Alex Vause (Laura Prepon), an international drug smuggler.

The offense occurred a decade before, but Chapman is pulled from her quiet life to do time with her ex, and they re-examine their relationship and deal with fellow prisoners.

Casting directors are looking for Dominican types to play female inmates on scenes filming in New York City starting Monday, June 29 and Tuesday, June 30.
