Broadway Actors Sign Autographs to Benefit BC/EFA Flea Market

On Sunday, September 27, more than 60 of your favorite Broadway actors will join the biggest day for Broadway fans by appearing at the always popular Autograph Table and Photo Booth at the 29th Annual Broadway Flea Market & Grand Auction.�
Every hour from 11 a.m.-3 p.m., a new group of Broadway favorites will take their place on the deck of Junior's Restaurant in Shubert Alley at West 45th Street. The stars set to meet and greet their fans represent many of Broadway's current hits and several new shows, as well as NBC's upcoming broadcast of "The Wiz Live!."

The Autograph Table and Photo Booth is just one part of the day-long Broadway Flea Market & Grand Auction (#bwayflea), a free outdoor event set in the heart of New York City's famed theatre district. The festivities begin at 10 a.m. and conclude around 7 p.m. The day is produced by and benefits Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

The lineup of special guests for the Autograph Table and Photo Booth includes Michael Arden, Annaleigh Ashford, Bryan Batt, Richard H. Blake, Heidi Blickenstaff, Stephanie J. The incomparable Jim Caruso will again serve as host for the Autograph Table and Photo Booth.

In addition to the deck at Junior's, the Broadway Flea Market & Grand Auction will take over the pedestrian plaza along Broadway between 43rd and 44th Streets while also lining West 44th Street between Seventh and Eighth Avenues and filling the Flea Market's original home in Shubert Alley.

Pre-bidding is now open at broadwaycares.org on dozens of auction items which will be available throughout the day at the Grand Auction's silent and live auctions. The auction offers exclusive theatre experiences that cannot be found anywhere else: walk-on appearances in Broadway's biggest hits, opening night tickets, handwritten and signed musical phrases and much more.

Broadway and TV veteran Bryan Batt and Broadway Cares' iconic auctioneer Lorna Kelly will hosting the live auction. Actors Stephen Wallem ("Nurse Jackie") and Kirsten Wyatt ("A Christmas Story") will co-host the silent auction.

More than 60 tables full of Broadway memorabilia, collectible Playbills and one-of-a-kind gems�will line West 44th Street, between Seventh and Eighth Avenues. Among the shows scheduled to be represented at tables this year are "Aladdin," "Allegiance," "An American in Paris," "Avenue Q," "Beautiful - The Carole King Musical," "The Book of Mormon," "China Doll," "Fiddler on the Roof," "Fun Home," "A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder," "Hamilton," "Hedwig and the Angry Inch," "Kinky Boots," "The Lion King," "Mamma Mia!," "Matilda The Musical," "Newsies," "On the Town," "The Phantom of the Opera," "Something Rotten!," "Sylvia" and "Wicked," with more to be announced.

Last year, the Broadway Flea Market & Grand Auction raised $713,986, bringing the event's 28-year total to more than $11 million.
