This was a great year in women's entertainment! Thanks to the hard work of women in the industry, we are beginning to get more time both in front of and behind the camera. And through content sharing sites like Tello and Girls Own Pictures, we're able to access and view more video than ever before! Here's a rundown of some of the best indie flicks of 2015.

Aussie Lesbian Crime Flick 'All About E' Hits Film Fests: Louise Wadley directs Mandahla Rose and Julia Billington in this sexy, funny, rollicking Aussie crime film with strong lesbian characters and a rollercoaster plot that weaves in complex issues about identity, family and sexuality. Lesbian-Themed 'Seeking Dolly Parton' Gets Online Release: "Seeking Dolly Parton" is the romantic comedy starring Kacey Barnfield�("Resident Evil: Afterlife") and Anya Monzikova ("Iron Man 2").�The film centers on a lesbian couple wanting to have a baby and the ex-boyfriend (played by Worth) who steps up to help to unexpected results for all. Bridget MacManus Debuts Six-Part Series 'Maybelle' on Tello: Tello Films will debut "Maybelle," a romantic six-part web series starring�Bridget McManus and New Orleans actress/comedian Frances Nichols. After the death of her mother, 35-year old Maybelle Garris must learn to live for herself, as a gay woman in the South, who's still in love with her best friend from high school,�Della Cain-Cumbee. Marina Bader Rice Premieres New Film 'Raven's Touch': Marina Rice Bader's new film "Raven's Touch" debuted in August, with exclusive premieres in Los Angeles and San Francisco. The project, which was written by Dreya Weber, produced by Bader, and co-directed by both, was a completely donation based project. here.

Italian Princess Finds Love in Lesbian Romantic Comedy Alto: Mikki del Monico's directorial debut, "Alto" is a charming lesbian romantic comedy set against the backdrop of New York City's Mafia. The film stars "American Idol's" Diana DeGarmo as a straight singer who falls for a lesbian Italian Princess, played by Natalie Knepp. Can they bridge their differences and unite their families, while staying on the good side of the Cosa Nostra? Digital Series 'Jillian's Peak' Launches LGBT Multimedia Network: When entrepreneur Charzette Torrence first thought to make a series about lesbian women of color, she didn't just jot some ideas on a steno pad and call it a day. Instead, this ambitious woman decided to create an entire multimedia premium cable channel for the LGBT community, with an East Coast bent. Enter JLK Multimedia Entertainment Worldwide, with their first series to be "Jillian's Peak." Read more here.

Varese Saranbande Releases 20th Ann. Anthology of 'Xena Warrior Princess': It's not really a movie, but Var�se Sarabande released the "Xena Warrior Princess: 20th Anniversary Anthology" on November 20. The limited edition set (2000 units, individually numbered) contains all seven volumes of soundtracks from the series, composed by Joseph LoDuca.
