Eileen Fisher Hosts Fashion Show to Benefit Legacy Grace Project

EDGE READ TIME: 2 MIN.

Two events will be held Saturday April 16 to highlight the Legacy Grace Project. The first will be a fashion show hosted by Eileen Fisher for Neiman Marcus and the second a book signing by author Diane Reeve, who will be at Barnes and Noble.

The Legacy Grace Project seeks to encourage hope and hold families together through a supportive net of services including mental health counseling, substance abuse treatment, support building, and education as women are the fastest growing population of new HIV infections. The conference is the centerpiece of the program.

Eileen Fisher will donate 5 percent of the fashion show proceeds to benefit the Legacy Grace Project. Melissa Grove, Executive Director of Legacy Counseling Center will be in attendance as well as Diane Reeve, author of "Standing Strong," and a member of the Legacy Grace Project. The second event will be hosted at Barnes and Noble across from Northpark after the fashion show concludes.

"Legacy appreciates Eileen Fisher's desire to empower women and their efforts to educate the community about the issues that surround women and HIV," said Grove.

Legacy Counseling Center is a nonprofit organization that provides quality mental healthcare, substance abuse treatment, and special care housing services for people challenged with HIV/AIDS.

"I am honored to be a part of Eileen Fisher's decision to donate to Legacy Counseling Center," said Reeve.

The first event will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Neiman Marcus Northpark, 8687 N Central Expressway, Dallas, Texas 75225. Please RSVP at [email protected] The book signing will take place at 4 p.m. at 7700 West Northwest Hwy. Ste. 300, Dallas, TX 75225
