Listen: Angela Lansbury Sings 'Beauty and the Beast' for Film's 25th Anniversary

It's been 25 years since the release of Disney's animated classic "Beauty and the Beast" (yes, you're old!) and Angela Lansbury, now 90, proved she's still got it and can make you cry like you're seven years old all over again.

Lansbury was at the 25th anniversary screening of "Beauty and the Beast" at Center's Alice Tully Hall in New York City Sunday. After the film was shown, the actress, who voiced Mrs. Potts, took the stage to perform the film's classic song "Beauty and the Beast," Variety reports.

Lansbury was accompanied by the film's composer, Alan Menken, who played piano. Also in attendance were other stars from the film, including Paige O'Hara (voice of Belle), Robby Benson (voice of the Beast) and Richard White (voice of Gaston).

"The thing about this particular story is that the characters are so real, and the voices are played by great actors -- I don't count myself necessarily among them," Lansbury said, according to Variety. She went on to call "Beauty and the Beast" "one of the great movies that I was involved with."

"You get a crowd like that together and a story with so much stuff in it, and you have a big success. Disney has had that success," the actress added.

Disney will release a live-action version of "Beauty and the Beast" in March 2017, which stars Emma Watson as Belle, Dan Stevens as the Beast, Luke Evans as Gaston, Emma Thompson as Mrs. Potts, Ewan McGregor as Lumiere and Ian McKellen as Cogsworth.
