An "Orange is the New Black" star has love on lockdown, recently getting engaged to a writer on the show.

The Hollywood Reporter comments that star Samira Wiley, who plays Poussey Washington, and show writer Lauren Morelli are engaged.

The two announced the engagement via Wiley's Instagram page, with a photo of Wiley showing off her huge diamond ring, simply captioned "Yes." The photo features the two women leaning together, with huge grins on their faces.

Entertainment Weekly reports that the women ell in love on the set of the Netflix hit, where Wiley starred as beloved inmate Poussey Washington and Morelli has served as a staff writer.

Morelli was married to television writer Steve Basilone when she began working on "OITNB," but in May 2014, Morelli wrote an essay for Mic.com about how working on the series made her realize that she is gay and in love with Wiley. "Irealized I was gay in fall 2012," she wrote, "one of my first days on the ['OITNB'] set."

In the essay, Morelli wrote "I went through it all on set: I fell in love with a woman, and I watched my life play out on screen... It feels liberating and appropriate to live my life in front of you."

New York Magazine notes that Wiley will soon be featured in an adaptation of "The Handmaid's Tale" on Hulu.
