Concert Event Supports Meditation for Parolees and Prisoners

READ TIME: 1 MIN.

On Sunday, April 23 at 4 p.m. at the Amity Foundation in Los Angeles, world famous meditation teacher/singer/author, Michel Pascal and legendary shamanic guitar player, Paul Pesco have come together for a show and special dinner to support meditation for parolees and prisoners through Amity Foundation in Downtown Los Angeles.

The event will celebrate the Amity Foundation's commitment to help parolees and prisoners stay out of jail with the help of healthy food, speakers, yoga and meditation based on the work of Michael Pascal.

Michel Pascal new book "Meditation for Daily Stress - 10 Practices for Immediate Well-Being," contains some of the practices used to help heal and create a path for this project.

And Pesco has performed with Madonna, Jennifer Lopez, Mariah Carey, and more.

In California 80 percent of parolees go back in jail. But with the Amity Foundation's programs, 80 percent of parolees never go back to jail. They find jobs and rebuild their families.

This event is open and free to the public. Donations are gratefully accepted. All the donations will be dedicated to Amity Foundation to train meditation teachers for jails. With each $1000 we can train a meditation teacher.

The concert and dinner will be held on Sunday, April 23, 2017 at 4 p.m. at the Amity Foundation, 3745 S. Grand Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90007.
