EDGE READ TIME: 1 MIN.
"Hamilton," winner of 11 Tony Awards including Best Musical, has announced a collaboration with the 150-year-old Faribault Woolen Mill of two distinctive new products: "Hamilton"-themed pillows and blankets.
Handcrafted at the Faribault Woolen Mill in Faribault, Minnesota -- a manufacturer of fine woolen goods since 1865, and one of the last woolen mills still in operation in the U.S. -- the "Hamilton" items were designed by Creative Goods Merchandise, the NYC-based company an official licensee of "Hamilton."
The blanket and pillow's richly detailed jacquard weave depicts lyrics from "Hamilton," which has book, music and lyrics by Lin Manuel Miranda, along with the musical's signature logo.
According to Pete Milano, founder of Creative Goods Merchandise, these new, limited edition "Hamilton" home dcor products will join the "Hamilton" merchandise catalog starting June 9 online at www.hamiltonbroadwaygoods.com and www.broadwaymerchandiseshop.com, as well as in the "Hamilton" Shop located at 235 W. 46 St., across the street from the Richard Rodgers Theatre where "Hamilton" performs. They will also be available on www.FaribaultMill.com.
"We are extremely proud to offer these expertly-handmade items that represent a unique collaboration between 'Hamilton' and the traditional craftsmanship of the made in America products manufactured by Faribault Woolen Mill," said Milano. "I anticipate that these limited edition, stylish, blankets and pillows will be an instant hit with 'Hamilton' fans everywhere."
