Watch: Mario Cantone Kills It as Scaramucci on 'The Presidents Show'
READ TIME: 1 MIN.
Timing is everything.
For Comedy Central's new weekly political series "The Presidents Show," there was never a better time for "Saturday Night Live" to be on hiatus. And for gay comic Mario Cantone, there was never a better time for Sean Spicer to leave the White House.
On Thursday night, gay stand up comedian Mario Cantone, best known for his work as Charlotte's wedding planner Anthony, on "Sex and the City," became the latest comic actor to deliver a spot-on impersonation of a Trump Administration staffer.
A day after hinting to the Huff Post that "It would be fun to play" newly minted White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci on "Saturday Night Live," Cantone appeared on Comedy Central's "The Presidents Show" as the foul-mouthed Wall Street financier turned Oval Office spin doctor. The result was hilarious, to say the least.
