Today on 'Megyn Kelly Today': Megyn Kelly Says She's a Hootie & the Blowfish Fan

READ TIME: 3 MIN.

Today on "Megyn Kelly Today" Megyn Kelly opened her show by discussing yesterday's show, where she revealed that she complained about Bill O'Reilly when she worked at Fox News.

After that, she welcomed NBC reporters Kate Snow and Cynthia McFadden to talk about harassment against women.

Cynthia shared a story about going to the doctor's when she was a teen and rejecting his "overtures." She didn't explain much more of her story as she became verklempt, but later told a story about how she was paid significantly less than a man for a job because her boss said she doesn't have a wife and kids to support.

Katie told a story about her first day on camera in front of the White House. She said she heard a producer say she was pale and needed "someone to slap her cheeks" to give her color. Megyn joked, "Did someone slap his cheek?"

Soon after, Megyn welcomed Melissa Rivers to show to promote a new book called "Joan Rivers Confidential."

"What a fancy set! All these screens!" Melissa said. "I didn't know our network had so much money."

"It's all gone now!" Megyn said.

Megyn told Melissa the Joan Rivers documentary "A Piece of Work" is "amazing." (She's right!)

Melissa revealed she's digitizing all of Joan's bits.

They then discussed "Fashion Police" coming to an end after 22 years, sparking Megyn to say, "Bitch Stole My Look!"

"I look at you and your mom and I see givers," Megyn told Melissa.

"[Joan] was a shopper so she was a taker, too," Melissa said.

After saying bye to Melissa, Megyn welcomed former first daughters, Jenna and Barbara Bush.

She then rolled a pre-recorded clip of former President George W. Bush and former First Lady Laura Bush.

George W. told a story about one of his daughter's then-boyfriends wanting to asking him for his permission to marry her. George W. said he was at Camp David and that he was going to take a nap. He told the then-boyfriend to come by after 3 p.m.

Barbra and Jenna Bush talked about how their father "lifted women up" and how he wrote them a letter before the Iraq War.

"You actually like each other," Megyn told the twins. They said they live four blocks away from each other and text every day.

"I got to ask about Laura Bush being a 'closet hippie.' Rastafarian even!" Megyn suddenly asked the women.

"Our mom loves reggae," Barbra said.

Megyn eventually said goodbye to the sisters and introduced another new segment called "Secrets: Telling My Truth."

The story was about a woman named Maggie Kneip who discovered her husband, journalist John Kneip, was living with AIDS in the 90s. Nine months after finding out, he passed away.

Maggie kept his diagnosis a secret until she wrote a book called "Now Everyone Will Know." Speaking with Megyn, Maggie said her husband revealed he slept with men in the past. She was concerned she or her children had HIV/AIDS but they eventually learned they did not.

Maggie said she was paranoid about people finding out how her husband died, and that she didn't want to be seen reading stories about AIDS in The New York Times. She also said "Will & Grace" was on the air during the time but she "didn't watch it."

The interview ended and Megyn then welcomed musician Darius Rucker to her show. In her introduction, Megyn actually uttered the phrase, "If you're anything like me, then you loooove Hootie & the Blowfish."

Darius talked about his new album "When Was the First Time," which Megyn called "beautiful." He also talked about being raised by "a strong woman."

Darius performed a song.

Megyn ended her show by speaking with Kathy Lee and Hoda. Kathy Lee sorta called Megyn out about not having lunch with her today. (In case you forgot, Megyn and Kathy Lee have a standing lunch date every Tuesday.) Megyn said was clearly caught off guard and mumbled something before the show ended.
