One line in "Stranger Things 3" has left some fans wondering about the sexuality of main character Will Byers. 14 year old star Noah Schnapp recently commented on the issue in an "It's really up to interpretation."
In the third episode of the new season, Will struggles with trying to return to normalcy, and wants his friends to play Dungeons & Dragons with him again. However, the respective breakups of Mike and Lucas take up his friends' time and energy.

When they won't stop talking about their breakups, Will storms out in the rain, and Mike tells him, "It's not my fault you don't like girls," prompting fan speculation about Byers' sexuality.

Schnapp seems to think it's more ambiguous a line than fans may have interpreted.

"All his friends have girlfriends and they're out dating, and he just wants to have fun with his friends," Schnapp said. "You see in Episode 3, he just wants to play D&D in the basement, and now all of his friends have girlfriends and they are dating. And it's kind of, when you hear Mike say that line, it's really up to the audience to interpret it. I kind of just interpret it like he's not ready to grow up and he doesn't really want to move on to dating and relationships yet. He still wants to be a kid and play in the basement like he did in old times."

"Stranger Things 3" released on Netflix July 4th.
