NYBG's Palm Dome Interactive Mobile Guide
The mobile guide allows virtual visitors to explore inside the palm dome with an interactive mobile guide. It's easy to virtually explore inside the Conservatory's Palms of the World Gallery and access never-before-seen views of the tops of the towering palms. There are images, videos, and audio from curators providing information about what the viewer is seeing, as well as historical images and content about the creation, maintenance, and restoration of the historic dome. Explore the Mertz Library Digital Collections
Want to explore your inner botanist? View digitized materials through JSTOR Global Plants, the world's largest database of digitized plant specimens and a locus for international scientific research and collaboration, while The C.V. Starr Virtual Herbarium is the gateway to the digitized specimens of the William and Lynda Steere Herbarium. Currently, 2.5 million specimen records and 1.5 million images are available. Every month, about 20,000 new records and images are added to the Mertz Library.
