Trans YouTube Star NikkieTutorials and Fiancé Robbed at Gunpoint at Home

YouTube star NikkieTutorials – also known as Nikkie de Jager – and her fianc� Dylan Drossaers were attacked and robbed at gunpoint at the home in the Netherlands on Saturday, People magazine reports.

The beauty influencer released a statement on Instagram:

People also reports that the East-Brabant police investigated a robbery in Uden – where de Jager and Drossaers live – with "at least 3 perpetrators... a possible firearm... one of the residents suffered superficial injuries," and nothing yet disclosed about what might have been taken from the couple's home.

Earlier this year, de Jager came out as transgender after being blackmailed:

Shortly after, the YouTube star was a guest on the Ellen show, where she explained to the beleaguered talk show host the circumstance surrounding the blackmail and coming out:

"A couple of weeks ago I got emails from a certain person and he was not okay with the fact that I was 'lying' and wanted to expose that... He had a very pressuring tone of voice, and he was like, 'If we don't get an answer by tomorrow, it's out.' And I feel like his entire goal was, with this, to destroy my life." Added Nikkie: "But, plot twist: That didn't happen!... I always wanted to come out with it... But it is such a delicate thing that... how do you find the timing? There is never the perfect timing. So – in a way, because I am not thankful to the person who did this – I am thankful that it happened now, and now I get to be free... as long as I get to be myself and inspire 'little Nikkies' to be themselves, that all I can do."
