PopUps: Lana Del Rey Lashes Back at Fan Who Said She Voted for Donald Trump
READ TIME: 1 MIN.
Lana Del Rey clapped back at a fan who tweeted that she believes the singer voted for President Donald Trump for the 2020 presidential election, the Daily Mail reports.
"I just KNOW Elizabeth voted for Trump," the fan wrote, referring to the pop star's real name – Elizabeth Grant, "I wish I could look up her voting records. Something doesn't sit right with me."
Though the fan didn't mention Del Rey in the tweet, the singer still somehow found the message and responded early Wednesday morning: "Go. Fuxk. Yourself."
The fan then fired off another tweet, writing: "Lana telling me to go fuck myself when I have her tattooed on my arm lmfaooooo alright then."
Del Rey again responded: "Nah read what u wrote hoe."
The "Ride" singer has been vocal about her feelings for Trump. Back in 2017, she said she used witchcraft against him.
The latest tiff comes not long after Del Rey said her forthcoming album "Chemtrails Over the Country Club" is being delayed until January due to the vinyl-making process, Billboard reports. Nevertheless, she said she plans on releasing a covers album of American standards and classics on Christmas, sharing a clip of herself singing "You'll Never Walk Alone" from the musical "Carousel."
Del Rey previously released the first song from "Chemtrails," "Let Me Love You Like a Woman," last month. Revisit it below.
