Instagram Illuminates with the Prowess of Pierre Cardin

The fashion world mourns the death this week of iconic designer Pierre Cardin. As previously reported, Cardin died on December 29 at the age of 98.

Cardin reached the pinnacle of success in the 1970s and '80s and later expanded his entrepreneurial footprint to include properties throughout Paris. Cardin had a decades-long relationship with his longtime assistant Andre Oliver, as well as an affair with French actress Jeanne Moreau.
