After Marriage Announcement, 'Queer Eye' Star Jonathan Van Ness Opens Up About New Husband

Over the weekend, "Queer Eye" star Jonathan Van Ness revealed he recently got married and he's now thanking fans for their kind words and opening up about his relationship with his new husband.

Taking to Instagram, Van Ness shared a post with a number of pictures of himself and Mark Peacock along with a lengthy caption about their relationship.

"We went on a date in London, which turned into more dates whilst I was on comedy tour. At the end of that time I was taking my mom, aunt & friends on a mini break to Amsterdam," Van Ness wrote. "I wanted @marklondon to come with but, was it a bit intense to ask Mark to come after a couple weeks worth's of dates to come meet my mom & and friends on a mini break?

"Maybe so, but something about Mark felt different and I'm quite sure he felt the same," he added. "Here's some of my favorite moments together and here's to making many more. Thanks so much for your support and love for us!! Love y'all!! Note: that address is from a rental that we've been out of for months so leave those nice people who live there alone and thanks for all your heads up & concern!"

Additionally, Peacock shared his own Instagram post celebrating his relationship with Van Ness.

"2020 brought on more changes than I've ever been a part of before. I left London and moved across the Atlantic, got dressed up for numerous seriously hilarious zoom quizzes, re-discovered a love for gardening, learn to drive on the left, got married to my soulmate and one true love @jvn and adopted a little Jack Russell called Pablo and entered a family with 4 amazing cats," he wrote. "2020 brought so much pain and sorrow for folks that's in so many ways heartbreaking to see but I sure do hope some of the love I've found this year can make its way into the world in 2021, 2020 might almost be over but it sure won't be be forgotten. 2021, I'm ready for you. Hope you're staying safe & healthy out there."

Van Ness recently announced his marriage to his "best friend," Peacock.

"Thank you universe for allowing me to be here & thanks to everyone who has supported me. 2020 was a year unlike any other," Van Ness, 33, wrote in his earlier Instagram post post. "I got to campaign & get more involved politically. I finished my tour in Australia & NZ for what I didn't know would be my last standup show for who knows how long... I got married to my best friend & have a loving partner to continue building my life with."

Not much is known about Peacock, but Van Ness first appeared in an Instagram video he posted back in March.
