Elliot Page Files for Divorce from Wife After 3 Years of Marriage

TMZ is reporting that Elliot Page has filed divorce from his wife Emma Portner after marrying three years ago.
In January 2018, the "Juno" star took to Instagram to announce his marriage to Portner, a dancer and choreographer.
In December, Page made headlines when he came out as a trans man. At the time, Portner took to Instagram to say she's "so proud" of Page.
"Trans, queer and non-binary people are a gift to this world. I also ask for patience & privacy but that you join me in the fervent support of trans life every single day. Elliot's existence is a gift in and of itself. Shine on sweet E. Love you so much," she added.
A few weeks later, however, it was reported Portner had deleted her Instagram account. At the time, she addressed questions about her own sexual orientation and gender identity, saying "my gender identity, pronouns, and sexuality are private and not up for debate. Would love for the energy in discussion over my identity to shift into addressing the climate crisis or sharing resources to support LGBTQIA2+ resiliency instead. I am so grateful for the accountability, love, and support."
Though she has since reactivated her account, she has no photos or videos of Page.
Neither Page nor Portner have commented on the split.
