'RuPaul's Drag Race All-Stars 6' Moves to Paramount+

"RuPaul's Drag Race All-Stars 6" is moving from VH1 to parent company Viacom's new Paramount+ next month, Entertainment Weekly reports.

Earlier this week, ViacomCBS said at an Investor Day streaming event that it expects big things from "All-Stars 6" in its move. Paramount+, a rebrand of the already-existing CBS All Access, launches March 4.

"All-Stars 6" will be joined at Paramount+ by "Queen of the Universe," a new singing competition between drag queens that World of Wonder – the production company for "Drag Race" – promises will feature "high heels, high octaves" and "high competition" that "will blow your wig off."

"RuPaul's Drag Race" bean airing in 2009 on the LGBTQ-centered network LOGO. For season 9, the increasingly popular show moved to VH1. ViacomCBS had intended to move "All-Stars 5," last year's installment, to Showtime but that plan was nixed because of the pandemic.

Moving "All-Stars 6" to the Paramount+ platform marks the first time an American show in the franchise will debut on a streaming service. International shows in the franchise have aired through the WOW Presents Plus subscription service – including "RuPaul's Drage Race UK," "Canada's Drag Race," "Drag Race Holland," "Drag Race Thailand," and the South American show "The Switch."

In addition to "All-Stars 6" and "Queen of the Universe," Paramount+ will also host "The Challenge: All Stars," a reboot of "Road Rules," and a "Real World: New York" 30-year reunion.
