Pink News reports that World of Wonder, the company behind "RuPaul's Drag Race," has announced "Painted with Raven," a makeup competition series with the iconic "DR" alum Raven as its host.

In a statement made earlier Monday, along with an open casting call for contestants, "Painted With Raven" announced it will place multiple makeup artists in competition through a variety of weekly challenges and faceoffs.

As a result of the coronavirus pandemic the show will be conducted entirely remotely, with the contestants battling it out for a $25,000 prize from the ease of their own homes.

RuPaul, as well as "Drag Race" producers Randy Babarto, Tom Campbell, and Fenton Bailey are set to executive produce the reality competition.

Raven was the runner-up in both the second season of "RuPaul's Drag Race" and the first season of "RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars."

Raven has worked as RuPaul's personal makeup artist since the ninth season of "Drag Race," earning an Emmy for her work on the program in 2020.

In an interview with Deadline, Raven expressed her excitement about the show.

"Makeup is something I've always been very passionate about," she stated. "It is what ultimately started me on my drag career," and "I'm so happy to be hosting something I absolutely love to celebrate...a reality competition about FIERCE MAKEUP!"

In the announcement, Babarto and Bailey were quick to express how excited World of Wonder is to have this program premiere on their new streaming platform, as well as their hopes to find "the fiercest makeup artists across the country."

"Painted With Raven" will debut on WOWPresents Plus, though no premiere date has been announced as of yet.
