Eye Candy – Meet the Pit Crew from 'RuPaul's Drag Race Down Under'

RuPaul always gives good eye candy with her choices for the Pit Crew on the numerous versions of "Drag Race" throughout the world. For those who are not part of Ru Universe, the Pit Crew is the name given to the muscular hotties who appear on camera during various shows, the latest of which is "RuPaul's Drag Race Down Under," available for streaming on the World of Wonder website with a subscription.
For this edition, it is a crew of two who are sometimes played off as himbos, with challenges such as: "Are You Smarter Than a Pit Crew Member?" In the case of the current Aussie team, they certainly can hold their own in terms of accomplishments, drive and smarts. Not to mention their buff looks.
Max
Billing himself as the Pit Crew Daddy, the bald, bearded Maxwell Thomas Currie not only looks good in front of the camera, but is talented behind it. He is the director and showrunner for "Rūrangi," the ground-breaking series from New Zealand that tells the story of young trans activist Caz Davis (Elz Carrad), who wants to reconnect with his dad. After the series premiered at New Zealand International Film Festival Program 2020. Max turned it into a feature film which was the closing night feature at this year's Sydney's Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras. Hulu, according to Qnews, has picked up the film.
At 21, Max cut his teeth as the host of New Zealand's weekly LGBTQ television show "Queernation" for two years. He was also was a writer for the prime-time serial "Shortland Street" for five seasons and wrote two seasons of the dramedy "Step Dave." He made his debut as a film director in 2014 with "Everything We Loved." Max is also a member of the New Zealand Falcons, the country's gay and inclusive rugby team based in Auckland, reports Qnews.
Sean
Joining Max in-and-out of the werk room is Sean Walters, who in addition to being a chiseled hunk is an entrepreneur behind an innovative New Zealand company, Machines at Work. The company develops safe and reliable autonomous machine technology that, according to its website, "was built from the belief that the future is going to be very different. As technology develops, robots are rolling, walking, and flying into an increasingly broad range of jobs." Sean is a business strategist with a background in electronics and software engineering, according to his bio on the website.
